Min Soo Kim Wiki

Known by most for being stopped in a little over a minute by a debuting Brock Lesnar, Kim has many accolades in spite of his lackluster record.

Winning high level judo tournaments since he was a teen, Kim won the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He also made it to the finals of the K1 World Grand Prix 2006 in Seoul. Aswell as his Olympic podium finish, Kim earned medals at the Tournoi de Paris, the World Masters tournament, the Pacific Rim Championships, the Matsutaro Shoriki Cup, and a gold medal at the World Judo Junior Championships in 1994. He has a JudoInside record of 27-15.

In 2011, Kim would announce his retirement from the sport, his last fight a loss to Henry Miller. Kim is now the head judo coach for Korean Top Team.
